Popped into bistro 115 for lunch, and it was incredible! There new menu is outstanding and has so many varieties as we are vegetarians so we did not have a problem finding something to eat. We have only tried the dinner menu before which is spectacular so we had high hopes for the lunch menu. The service was amazing, the atmosphere was so calm and relaxing, and the chef knows how to cook! If you want good food and good service bistro 115 is the place to go. Can not wait to visit there again.
Genuinely superb. Perfectly niche without being pretentious. We've walked by quite a few times when it's closed and wondered what the gates hide. Lucky enough to catch it open on a rare afternoon off, and without a booking we managed to get a lunch with ease. Terrific menu, could have eaten any of the dishes but opted for the Beef & Gravy. Absolutely delicious! It's a really, nice relaxing setting and the service is outstanding, will definitely be back (with prior booking) Keep doing you Bistro 115, it's really a welcome change!
I recently dined here for dinner and was genuinely impressed! The restaurant gives off a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that feels like home. The service was exceptional, the staff were very friendly, approachable, and attentive definitely a 10 out of 10! For starters, we had the cauliflower bites and halloumi, both of which were fantastic and thoroughly enjoyable. My main course was the sea bass, accompanied by a mixed seafood tomato sauce, and it was cooked to perfection simply delicious! The desserts were equally impressive, leaving no room for complaints. I would definitely return!
we found the bistro purely by chance. We saw the blackboard as we were walking to the station. As we were reading it,Mike came out to do something and after saying hello he offered us a tour of the place.Wow. Passionate and proud. We managed to get a booking later that evening and the greeting we received from all the staff was wonderful. The menu has some fabulous choices and what we chose was fantastic.seafood and pork belly both meals were expertly cooked, presented and served. This is a no rush no push bistro, leaving us to enjoy a lovely meal and a few well made cocktails. We will certainly return when we have the chance,we will certainly try to eat our way through the menu and have already told friends about our new favourite little hideout.Everything about the bistro is impressive, the courtyard as we told Mike is exactly how ours looks at home, the history, the decor and attitudes. The food and drink is high class and you should all hold your heads high with pride its been earned.
A fantastic place, the food and service were excellent. Highly recommend a visit.

Attractive venue just a short way from the front and so much more interesting than the franchise offerings. Menu offers a good range of interesting dishes, all with a twist at a very reasonable price. The "115 Thing" a dish of ox tail stew with sausage and mustard mash was outstanding. Puddings were also very good and service was efficient and friendly. This small restaurant is very well worth a visit, and very good value for money.
We started our evening with a drink in the lounge ( we’d arrived early). Diners were enjoying small plate dishes available there. We moved through to the main dining room at our booked time. An inventive menu at Bistro 115. Lots of options from oxtail, chicken, pork, lamb, fish and veggie dishes on offer. We chose the oxtail, with cream cabbage, mustard mash and Cumberland sausage( not needed) and pork with prawns, veg fritter and marinara sauce. Both arrived piping hot and were delicious. The dishes are generous portions. A good selection of wines from glasses to bottles all reasonably priced. A creative desert menu. All were tempting. We had a Belgium chocolate Black Forest creation, which was delicious. The young staff were friendly, efficient and working hard. Excellent, creative dishes at reasonable prices. Book a table and enjoy!
